Baseball, by the Rules

Kyle Tucker, of the Houston Astros, heads off the field after being put out at second base by the Cleveland Guardians.
The Batter is Out
If a batter comes up to the plate with zero or one out in the inning, and the result is another out, then the inning will continue with the next batter between in the lineup. There is a 30-second timer that runs between batters, into which the normal pitch timer rules are folded in.
On the other hand: if the out that is recorded is the third out, then the inning (or half-inning) ends, all the players make their way off the field, and the teams get ready to change sides.
